Greetings to you, my faithful reader!
P/s: my blog is so dead yet you're still reading this post, you're really awesome! haha! :D

Let me try to keep this short, since I'm at the library now, SUPPOSE TO BE working on my project. But I thought that maybe its time to "polish" my procrastination skills, can't neglect it for too long. Xp

Was chatting on Msn with a friend and we talked about age, and this reminded me of a promise one of my buddies made to me..

There's no bias in this post I swear. It doesn't mean I'm talking about this buddy, means his my best buddy, for me, Best is defined as MANY. I have many Bff! :D

Ok, this is what he said to me that time :" Ivan, before I'm 30, I'll surely have my BMW and bring you for supper!"
I believe what he said, and always will. :)

Another one would be what I said to another buddy,
"In the future, I want you to build my house."

... ... :)

I know, some of you may know who I'm talking about or maybe not. But, with all these "In the future Promises", I don't know, but it keeps me going..
In hard times when I feel so frustrated and wanna give up (especially when I'm at overseas now.)
I always tell myself that if I give up, what about those so called "Promises"?
THEY are working hard too right? I don't wanna lose or fall of the track!
Already lose THEM in badminton already you know! (this will be such a big LOL! XDD)

So yeah, maybe I made a grammar error, its not Buddy, it should be Buddies. :)

Okay...almost time for next class..signing off here now.
Bye for now!
*No matter how bad my day today will be, at least I've achieved something...
Updated my Blog! :P

"How's Life?"

Published by Ivan Chia under on 9:41 AM
"Its Good! :)"

Hey everyone! Finally I'm back into the blogging world (well, I'm actually on my blog everyday, but I just can't seem to login through the internet in my room, sighs. Now I'm in the library, which is more known as the Internet Lab rather than a "Library" since we dont see any books here, LOL!)
Well, so I decided to break my life description into parts.

Residence
I'm now staying in a double-sharing room. I have a roommate from Myammar who is 14 years old (Grade 9), YES ! Only 14 ! But his more mature than any other one of his age, so he hangs out with us rather than 9th graders. His a nice guy, only that his a bit messy, but now his staying with me, too bad for him, I boss him around to make sure he keeps my room clean and neat. haha!
There's not much about my room and the other dorms here. I guess that's all about my room! Let's move on ! :D

Daily Life!
Hee, guess you guys are just waiting for this? hahaha!Ok, let's see if I can be "Specific" on this.
7:30am - Wake up, wash face, brush teeth, change clothes, style hair.
8:00am - Eat breakfast and chit-chat with friends in the Cafeteria.
8:30am - Business Leadership class ! Its a very fun course, and also I think its the easiest one
among all my other subjects, haha.

... ... I just realise I dont have my time table with me, and my schedule is 72 minutes per class...and I'm lazy to do my math >.< how am I gonna be specific on this ?!?! Oh gosh.. Oh well! I'll just "try my best" then. Xp

So basically,
my classes end at 3.16pm of the day (I know, I'll edit this when I get back to my room, haha.)
Its still like the 2nd week of classes here, so my daily routine is still not constant yet.
3 Days ago, after class, I went shopping. :D
2 Days ago, after class, I was doing nothing till dinner time, and after that I did my math H.W and study Business Leadership quiz with my friends till 1am.

The quiz was really really stupid ! The teacher said that It'll be a 5 minutes quiz, come on, 5 minutes only? Is it possible? I didnt believe it, so my and my friends were studying like what, and furthermore my friends English is not that good, so I was teaching and studying at the same time. In the end, when it was time for quiz, I saw the tiny little piece of paper, which is half of an A4 sized paper with 12 key terms questions on it! =_=!!!! WTH! And those key terms are so easy, you dont even need to study to know them. So, to make it short (this is just a joke, haha!),
I finished the quiz within 45 seconds and waited for 15 minutes to hand up that paper.
I told myself, its ok, study more, is good for me, since I'll be able to use them in test/exams and 2nd thing, dont just listen, BUT BELIEVE WHAT YOUR LECTURER SAYS! >.<

Next !YESTERDAY ! ...
(haha, okok, chill~) *Take a deep breath...breath out...phew!* XD
Ok, for yesterday, after class I went to the ILC (Independent Learning Center, a place for students to study and do their H.W) to study my advanced function, the "heaviest"(in terms of stress & pressure) subject to me!

In the ILC, there's a teacher, no, actually his a tutor, David. He just finish his 2nd year of U in Waterloo. His majoring in math, but he seem to know every other subject, and he really does!
One time I ask him, what did you get for ENG4U (highest level of English in college)?
He said :" Well, I didn't do really well in Eng4U."
"Are you sure? what was your marks?" I asked. "Between 80-90?"
He said :" Yeah, around there."
-.- then I ask about his other subjects like Economics, Chemistry, and other subjects which have something to do with math.
The response I got was "Not quite good." "Not really high marks."
But yeah, his someone the school hired to teach students with any academic questions, yes, ANY! So after that, I "visit" him almost everyday.XD
Recently, we're got closer, I see him basically everyday after class, till we go to bed! haha! Praise the Lord for sending a helper to me! :DD
And his a very very nice guy, 2 years older than me only, awesome! :)

That's about all with my daily life. Weekends?
Its boring for me. Since my roommate have to go back to his mum apartment (1 hour away from college) every weekend. And this week, David is not here too, he went back home (2 hours away from college, and its the same place where my big aunt stays).
So I'm all alone on this beautiful Saturday morning waiting for Brunch at 10.30am. :'(

Ahhhhhh....getting lazy to type more already....no one comment on it, dont even know if there's a soul reading this! haha.
If you guys got any other question, just ask me, I'll reply you and maybe edit it in my post.
Oh ! Friends! Most important part in my college life! But! as I said, I'm lazy, So I'm procrastinating the friend part till next time~ maybe tomorrow..or...well, you understand the word Procrastination right? So whats the point in telling when I'm gonna write it? Haha!

Buhbye for now everyone! :D
Miss ya guys! All of you ! Take care! :)

No Internet, No Life ?

Internet is SO Important, agree?
Sorry about the long delay on new posts.
I just can't find the mood now to write new posts.
Yesterday, when I finally wanted to write something, the blogger log-in site is down.
Last night, even before I could try to log-in, I realise the whole campus's internet is down, WTH??
Only the library one is on. Huh?? Got fed-up, went back to my room, watch some movies and sleep.
This morning try again, still can't, came down to the library and use it.
I dont really like coming down to the library because it has an unpleasant scent here. ish!
Really hope the wireless USB here is cheap, I really need one, so I wouldn't get piss over all this little yet irritating matters!
But of cause, when the internet is on, its smooth and fast, but when its down, its ARGHHH!!!!

Thats all for now.
*P/s : All the internet here are not wireless, you have to use a internet cable and plug-in. (: !

Small snack for your eye.

Here are some beautiful flowers taken in my grand aunt's garden. She planted them with her daughter. If its not beautiful, its not the flowers, maybe its the photographer, me! Lol.

Here's one random picture that I saw in the kitchen. Girls over food, like this? Xp haha!

Past - Present - Future

Published by Ivan Chia under on 10:30 PM
Would you wish to go back into the past or wait for another chance in the future?

Well, spent my whole day at home, facing my laptop the whole day. How many of you know that when you're bored, your thoughts tend to bring you to far far away land. haha! You'll be deep in thoughts, doesn't matter what is it about.. may it be friends.. relationship.. studies.. or food? lol just something random, haha. xD

What am I trying to say here?
Was just thinking, if I could wish for one thing, either to go back into the past and change that something, or ask for another chance to change it in the future.
Either way, you'll still be able to make the changes you want, and remove that regret from your heart right?
But which one is better?
Back into the past, change it, and live on! Everything will go as you planned! No regrets !
Wait for it, when it comes, change it! like a 2nd chance! And finally you won't have to regret about it!
Both are making a difference, its a matter of time..whether you want it to happen earlier or later..

Many times, I make decisions without thinking twice, and right after that, you'll say "Gosh! If I've thought about it more." Or when its time to make a decision, and you're afraid to make the same mistake, so you tend to spend more time thinking, but time doesn't wait for you, and even before you have your answer, its already gone. So we thought, if only we had more time, turn back the time a bit ; hope it comes again, waiting for another chance.

BUT HEY DUDE! This is what life is ! Not all things go according to your way man!
Haha, thats what I always use to comfort myself, after I regret doing something, lol.
Thinking back about these times, times where we regret, make mistakes, sometimes it can put a smile on our face. haha.
I still remember times where I use to fight(using words) with my good buddies, either school or church, but in the end we'll still end up laughing together after a few days! So sometimes you'll say, then why bother fighting in the first place? haha! :D Having friends around you is the best gift you can ever have!
Now that I'm far away from home, I tend to think more about the good times I have in M'sia. Definitely not about the country, but about my friends, haha!
Having supper & gaming with Yokki & Kevin.. Yumcha with my schoolmates.. Dota-ing with all my friends on GG..Party at Wes house..Mahjong session on CNY..Jamming session with the band..the awesome badminton moments..5A & 5B gathering..sleeping in class with the whole gang..The "Chershiong house outing"..haha! XD
When we're enjoying moments like this, how many times do we think about "How I wish this could happen again and again or when will the next time be?"

If you ask me now, Back to the past or Wait for it to come in the future?
I'll say I wanna go back into the past, and enjoy these wonderful moments again and again and again!!
Why not wait for it to come? Because, nobody likes to wait when you can choose to have it earlier, right? haha..

well, thats about it, just a random post I felt like typing since I'm kinda bored now. haha!
Thanks alot for reading! ^_^
To all my precious friends out there whos reading this, here's an old yet meaningful song for you.
Don't say you don't know this song please, lol. Take care ! :D

5am

Published by Ivan Chia under on 5:44 AM
5am? why izit called 5am post? Simple!

Because I got up at 5am ! lol
Well, slept around 10.30pm last night, and around 5am, I just woke up naturally.
Since I can't fall back into dreamland, so I decided to get online, and chat with all my friends.
I guess this is one good thing about studying overseas. If you can't sleep, no worries.
All my friends in M'sia will surely be awake, alive and kicking! LOL!
So I got up at 5am, and my mum couldn't sleep either, so she went down to the kitchen and get some food.
For me, as usual, I feed on msn and facebook! well, now I have a new dish, called the Blog! XD

I have quite a lot of pictures in my camera, why isn't it on facebook? Because I'm abit lazy to post them up now Xp
But I know how to, and its easy, since you can upload like 200 at one go. I wouldn't wanna upload them like 20 by 20, right Zy? XDD

Ok, this time, I guess I'll keep this post as short as possible. I believe it'll be shorter than the previous one, lol.

Its kinda cold here, its like living in a room with the air-con set at 16 degrees the whole day.
And I realise, you tend to eat more when its cold. Which is good news for me! :D

That's all from me at 5am in Toronto. (:

Au Revoir

A new Beginning.

Singapore - Hongkong - Vancouver - Toronto

Its was a OMG Journey.
You'll have "Omg! So beautiful!", "Omg! So tired!", "Omg! So bored!" and whatever you name it!

Maybe I Should describe the whole journey country by country. Haha!

Singapore
At the airport, My family and I, aunty Pat lee and aunty Kwai may had lunch together at the airport. I took some pictures there, and later did I realise my camera was out of battery!(One OMG Moment!)
How? On the whole journey, I was looking for a power socket to charge it. At last, found it! BUT!
Mum: Charger? Is in one of the big bags we checked-in. @_@!!
Sighs, no choice, I enjoy the beautiful scenery of every place I go myself. Sorry friends. Xp

Hongkong
After erm.. 6 hours of flight (I think) we arrived at Hk. Some of my friend says that Hk airport is very nice, to me, ok-ok only. Had Popeye fried chicken for erm..dinner? or maybe supper there.
haha. At the airport, I smsed some friends in Jb, I guess we can't be bothered buy the expensive charges for sms. We just wanna talk to each other! Because at the airport, I cant connect to the wireless, so the only way is to sms. Until I checked-in, only was I able to connect to the wireless.
But then, my lappy was running on battery (another OMG moment) Lol! I found power sockets, BUT! Argh! All spoiled! >.<>

Vancouver
Finally, one more stop and I'll reach my destination! haha! I was hoping to see a beautiful Vancouver airport, but when I got there, it was so quiet... I think because its already night time, all the shops are closed. Even the immigration area when I got my Student Visa, has only 2 officers working there. Haha. The power socket in Canada, is so different compared to Msia's ones. But I'll tell you more about it in the Canada section. Here ends the Vancouver trip, me and my mum were so tired, we just cant be bothered to "tour" the airport, haha.

Canada!!!! XD
Before I start, there are characters I need to introduce, haha!
My Aunt - My dad's older sister.
Stud - My aunt's friend.
My 5th Grand aunt - My dad's aunty. I'm staying at her place before I move in to hostel.
My 5th Grand uncle - My dad's uncle, who is working in my college as the Executive Director.
My 5th Grand Uncle's Wife - My dad's aunty, who is working in my college. (forgot her post >.<)

Here it begins....
Yes !!! Canada!!! Airport was nice, weather was cooling.
So, like many, when we arrived, the first thing to do was to collect our luggage.
In Canada, you need to pay $2 for the cart/trolley you used to carry your luggage.
And when you return it, you'll get a refund of $0.25! yes! 25 cents only! Haha, but better than nothing, convert to Rm, its around RM 1 you know, haha! So, after retriving our luggage, my mum said that my aunt and her friend will be picking us outside the airport. We went outside the main gate, and waited there for 1 hour! Oh no! Whats going on? I bet they got the wrong arrival time. But my mum said that they have comfirmed with each other on emails, so its not possible for them to make a mistake. In the end, we saw them. What happen? lol
The "outside" my aunt meant was, outside the departure gate! not the airport!!! -.-!! LOL!
So we got on the car, My mum was with my aunt and I was with my aunt's friend, Stud.
Stud is a nice guy, on the road, he thought me alot about places Toronto as we pass by them.
The highways in Canada were super long and wide. haha!
My aunt said that my 9th Grand aunt wants to have breakfast with us, so we went to a restaurant called Orchard which is just 15 minutes walk away from my College! Cool eh :D
The serving there was huge man..real huge, if I go there another time, I'll snap some for you guys. But the food was delicious! Not because I'm super hungry, but its really nice. Haha!
After that, We went to my college to drop off some luggage. I love my college and my room!
I'm sharing with another person, which I dont know who yet. When I got to my room, the bed was already made, neat and tidy. As some of you know, my 9th Grand uncle is the Executive Director of the school, in other words, he owns the school actually, haha. So yeah, they really treat me very well, but of cause, when its schooling or working times, I'm equally treated like the rest. And I got to know a few lecturers too! Ya, I know, shoots of my college and room? relax~ I'll get it asap for you guys! Haha. Describing more about it wont satisfied you guys, so the best way is to just post pictures and stop talking, but please be patient, haha!
After that, we went to My aunt's house to drop some gifts at her place and headed to a mall called Pacific Mall. I need to go to the mall to get some stuff on my list : A adapter to enable my laptop and camera charger's plug to work here, an Internet cable (In my hostel, you need an internet cable to connect, but for other places like Cafeteria, Library and etc, its wireless.) and lastly a Canadian phone number. I wont be using it very often though, but maybe in the future, yes. The mall is like a "Little China"...wait.. I'll call it "Big China". Because, you can barely see a Canadian there! All are chinese people from China and hongkong! haha, so Stud told me, its good you know chinese, or else, coming here to shop will be a problem. haha! Some of the shopkeepers speak english quite well, just that most of the time, I see them using Cantonese. haha.
The ride from my college to my aunt's place was 1 hour, and from her place to Pacific mall was 45 minutes, and to them, its like nothing. lol. And I cant sleep, because if I sleep, Stud has no one to talk to, and I'll feel bad about it, haha! Paiseh you know? xD
So it was quite an interesting ride, because we did not only took the highway, Stud also took the small roads so that I could see the life-style of the ppl staying in Toronto. There are seriously alot of shops compared to houses. All the shops were next to each other, and you have to count them row by row, its gonna be very hard if you're gonna count them one by one, haha.
So basically, you can get whatever you want there.
While I was on the road, there was 3 things on my mind.
1. Toronto is a very beautiful place.
2. How I wish I could snap my camera all the time!
3. Zy !!! How I wish you're here !! I bet you'll snap till your finger snap! xD LoL

But don't worry, its not like I'm gonna be here for awhile only right? haha!
About jet lag, I dont think I have any problem with it, since I got used to it thanks to my sleeping time in Jb. haha.
So now, My mum and I are currently staying at my 5th grand aunt's place. I'll only move in to my hostel on Tuesday night, so I will be able to take my placement test on Wednesday morning. And my mum will be staying at my aunt's place. If there's any changes, I'll keep you guys posted.

Phew, what a looooooooooong first-post. haha!
Thanks to all who read it till the end, first time blogging you know, still new to it, lots more to learn. :D
Okay.. that's mostly all about it.
Signing off from My 5th grand aunt's house, Toronto. haha!

Au Revoir!
